Regarding the special news released by the ministry of health, treatment and medical education about the interview of Dr. Dinarvand, the head of food and drug organization,Mr. Seyed Hossein Etemadi Monfared PH.D, the C.E.O of YAGHOOT ROOYAN HOLDING said :
Undoubtedly, the usual sensitivity and consideration of the high rank responsible persons in one of the most important and fundamental organizations will make the activists in pharmacy area satisfied and pleased since we are all aware that one of the most effective fields in different social layers is the pharmaceutical area and the least comedown or improvement in this field will directly effect on the country’s health and general human advancement.
Mr. Etemadi Expressed his hope about the promises of this organization to be operational regarding the macro professional management to compensate the past supervisory imperfections on medicine and cosmetics import , production and distribution and added:
Although some penalties have been considered for the illegal importers of goods and foreign exchange in the clause 22 of anti – good and foreign exchange contraband campaign act, it seems that this law is still not prohibitive enough to exterminate this problem. Whereas the contraband of pharmaceutical raw material, food supplements and also the medical equipments is included in the penalty of forbidden goods contraband, which is the subject of clause 19 of the same law and the medicine contraband is placed in the chapter of forbidden goods contraband according to anti – good and foreign exchange contraband campaign act and the intended penalty is one level higher than the concerned penalties for other defrauders but the most surprising part of this process is that the contraband medicines are inseparable from the country’s health and treatment system.                                                                                                          
He also added : speeding up the consensus and conclusion of the related commission in parliament to revise the abovementioned law will help the prevention of pharmaceutical goods contraband, foreign exchange exit and country’s foreign exchange resources loss and finally it will result in growth and development of different parts of this area and general benefit for the society.
Mr. Etemdi PH.D also indicated in the last part of his speech : now that there is a hope for the activists in country’s health area by initiating the pharmaceutical electronic system, the solutions for campaigning the medicine contraband , preventing entrance and exit of illegal counterfeit and original medicine to the country and specially correct monitoring of medicine supply and distribution centers via official manufacturing and distribution networks could be identified and according to the head of food and drug organization, Dr. Dinarvand’s speeches this is the only way to prevent the entrance, distribution and finally consumption of non- standard medicines by our dear Iranian countrymen so we would see significant improvements in reshuffling the country’s health and raising the qualitative and quantitative country’s society health.
